The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) basketball felled the host Henry Hudson Admirals (Highlands, NJ), 83-71 in Tuesday's league test.
The Garnet Gulls (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Point Pleasant Boro was topped by St. Rose (Belmar, NJ), 60-39, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Admirals clash with the Academy for Urban Leadership Charter Jaguars (Perth Amboy, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Henry Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 63-39 non-league loss to Keyport (Keyport, NJ).
