The Heritage Christian Defenders routed the host Illinois Lutheran Chargers basketball team by a final score of 71-49 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Defenders face the Kankakee Trinity Academy (Kankakee, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 2. Heritage Christian will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The enter the game with a 16-4 record after their 68-48 league loss to Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL).
