The Heston Academy Patriots basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Rogers City Hurons to 23 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mio-Au Sable for a North Star bout on Friday, February 3. Heston Academy will play a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 45-40 league win over Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 11-0.

Next up, the Hurons play the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) in a North Star bout, on Friday, February 3. Rogers City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 53-44 league loss to Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI).
