Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN), 78-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Murray County Central upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Rebels host Heron Lake-Okabena (Okabena, MN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Heron Lake-Okabena lost 77-66 in their recent league bout against Adrian (Adrian, MN)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN) in a A Section 3 bout, on Friday, February 3. Hills-Beaver Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Flying Dutchmen go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 66-30 league loss to Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN).
