Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Slinger Owls (Slinger, WI), 96-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Homestead upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Port Washington (Port Washington, WI) to play the Pirates in a North Shore bout on Friday, February 3. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Port Washington lost 67-50 in their recent league bout against Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI)

Next up, the Owls play the Hartford Orioles (Hartford, WI) in a North Shore bout, on Thursday, February 2. Slinger will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Orioles come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 61-59 league loss to West Bend (West Bend, WI).
