Delaware High School Basketball - Howard nudges William Penn

January 31, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19801

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE) basketball squad nipped the visiting William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), by a margin of 58-56.

The Wildcats (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Dickinson (Wilmington, DE). The Rams go into the Blue Hen Flight - B outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Dickinson got by Christiana (Newark, DE), 60-56, in a league outing.

The Colonials now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host St. Elizabeth for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 2. William Penn will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 54-49 league win over St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 11-5.
