The Independence Blue Devils basketball team (Independence, OH), was overwhelmed 70-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH)
The Longhorns now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cuyahoga Heights for a Chagrin Valley - Metro battle on Friday, February 3. Lutheran West will confront a Red Wolves team coming off a 67-43 non-league win over Clearview (Lorain, OH). The Red Wolves record now stands at 17-0.
The Blue Devils (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Brooklyn (Brooklyn, OH). The Hurricanes come into the Chagrin Valley - Metro battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Brooklyn was overwhelmed by Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH), 42-41, in a league battle.
