Tennessee High School Basketball - Nolensville can't hold off Independence

January 31, 2023: Nolensville, TN

The Independence Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Nolensville to 47 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ravenwood for a 4A District 12 contest on Friday, February 3. Independence will battle a Raptors team coming off a 51-45 league win over Columbia Central (Columbia, TN). The Raptors record now stands at 14-9.

The (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Franklin, TN). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Centennial was nudged by Franklin (Franklin, TN), 55-52, in a league contest.
