West Virginia High School Basketball - Weir topples Indian Creek

January 31, 2023: Weirton, WV 26062

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV) basketball squad beat the visiting Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH), by a margin of 53-34.

The Red Riders (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Bruins go into the non-league outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Brooke was beaten by Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV), 84-52, in a non-league outing.

The Redskins now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Toronto for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3. Indian Creek will clash with a Red Knights squad coming off a 60-31 league win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Red Knights record now stands at 11-7.
