Indian Hills Braves (Oakland, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), 42-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Indian Hills upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Braves travel to River Dell (Oradell, NJ) to play the Golden Hawks in a Big North - Patriot bout on Thursday, February 2. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a record of 14-5. River Dell won 62-37 in their recent league bout against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Pascack Hills Broncos (Montvale, NJ) in a Big North - Patriot bout, on Thursday, February 2. Mahwah will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 53-42 league loss to Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ).
