The Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) basketball knocked off the host Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 60-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD). The Sioux go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Lower Brule notched a victory over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD), 78-42, in a non-league test.
The now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Iroquois/Lake Preston will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 69-32 non-league win over Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-2.
