Kansas High School Basketball - Pleasant Ridge knocked off by Jefferson County North

The Jefferson County North Chargers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Pleasant Ridge Rams to 30 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Jefferson County North will battle a Ravens team coming off a 55-54 non-league win over Atchison County (Effingham, KS). The Ravens record now stands at 10-2.

The Rams (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against McLouth (McLouth, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, McLouth was defeated by Horton (Horton, KS), 63-33, in a non-league contest.
