With the victory, J.L. Mann upgrades its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Patriots host Mauldin (Mauldin, SC) to play the Mavericks in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Mauldin lost 84-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Dorman (Roebuck, SC)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, February 3. T.L. Hanna will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 56-50 league win over Woodmont (Piedmont, SC).
