The Patrick Henry Academy Patriots basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting John Paul II Golden Warrriors to 53 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomas Heyward Academy for a SCISA AA Region II match on Friday, February 3. Patrick Henry Academy will meet a Rebels team coming off a 49-41 league win over Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 8-10.

With the defeat, John Paul II moves to 2-18 on the year. The Golden warrriors host Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC) to meet the Eagles in a SCISA AAA Region I match on Friday, February 3. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 20-2. Hilton Head Christian Academy won 55-54 in their recent non-league match against Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA)
