Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Johnsburg upgrades its record to 14-12 on the season. The Skyhawks host Marengo (Marengo, IL) to play the Indians in a Kishwaukee River bout on Saturday, February 4. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-25. Marengo won 44-34 in their recent league bout against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL)

Next up, the Blue Streaks play the Harvest Christian Academy Lions (Elgin, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Woodstock will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 20-5 record after their 56-41 non-league win over Christian Life (Rockford, IL).
