The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Kemp Yellowjackets to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mildred for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Friday, February 3. Scurry-Rosser will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-51 league win over Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-16.

The Yellowjackets (17-11) will now prepare for their contest against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Rice was defeated by Eustace (Eustace, TX), 70-46, in a league contest.
