The Walton Raiders basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs to 36 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeler for a AAAAAAA Region 5 contest on Friday, February 3. Walton will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 95-61 league win over Osborne (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-6.

The Mustangs (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Warriors enter the AAAAAAA Region 5 contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Cherokee ran past North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA), 81-52, in a league contest.
