The Lourdes Eagles basketball team (Rochester, MN), was overwhelmed 61-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN)

The Tigers now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Island for a AA Section 1 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Lake City will battle a Panthers team coming off a 81-57 non-league loss to Byron (Byron, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-12.

The Eagles (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets come into the non-league battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Kasson-Mantorville trounced Pine Island (Pine Island, MN), 53-51, in a non-league battle.
