The Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) basketball nipped the host Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 45-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees go into the North Suburban test with a 0-20 record. In their last test, Zion-Benton was tipped by Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 72-68, in a league test.
The Scouts now own a 14-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a North Suburban test on Friday, February 3. Lake Forest will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 40-30 league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Bears record now stands at 13-10.
