Legacy Christian Academy Warriors (Beaumont, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Providence Classical Paladins (Spring, TX), 40-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Legacy Christian Academy upgrades its record to 17-16 on the season. The Warriors travel to Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a TAPPS 2A District 6 bout on Friday, February 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 16-11. Covenant Christian lost 72-56 in their recent league bout against O'Connell (Galveston, TX)

Next up, the Paladins clash with the Grace Christian Academy Eagles (Houston, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 6 bout, on Friday, February 3. Providence Classical will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 21-14 record after their 99-3 league win over Chinquapin (Highlands, TX).
