Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) and the visiting Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), saw Summers County's basketball squad hold off Liberty by a tally of 59-53.

With the victory, Summers County improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to River View (Bradshaw, WV) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. River View lost 80-27 in their recent league challenge against James Monroe (Lindside, WV)

Next up, the Raiders play the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) in a Coalfield AA challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Renegades come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 49-45 league loss to PikeView (Princeton, WV).
