The Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), 70-53 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lancers (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Asotin (Asotin, WA). The Panthers go into the 2B Bi-County test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Asotin went down by Colfax (Colfax, WA), 70-48, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna for a 2B Bi-County test on Wednesday, February 1. Upper Columbia Academy will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 72-40 non-league win over Kittitas (Kittitas, WA). The Broncos record now stands at 13-6.
