WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lone Tree Lions (Lone Tree, IA), 66-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, WACO upgrades its record to 18-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Louisa-Muscatine lost 69-53 in their recent league bout against Pekin (Packwood, IA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) in a SEI - North bout, on Thursday, February 2. Lone Tree will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 63-38 league loss to Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA).
