Virginia High School Basketball - Tazewell ripped by Marion

The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs to 39 in the Scarlet Hurricanes league triumph on Tuesday.
The Scarlet Hurricanes now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graham for a Southwest contest on Friday, February 3. Marion will meet a G-Men team coming off a 66-36 non-league win over Galax (Galax, VA). The G-Men record now stands at 7-9.
The Bulldogs (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Blue Tornado enter the Southwest contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Richlands was routed by Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 71-61, in a league contest.
