The Walled Lake Northern Knights basketball team (Commerce, MI), dropped 58-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI)
The Mavericks now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mott for a Lakes Valley battle on Friday, February 3. Milford will battle a Corsairs team coming off a 71-44 non-league loss to Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 9-5.
The Knights (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the Lakes Valley battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Walled Lake Western prevailed over South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 51-46, in a league battle.
