Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI), 75-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Mineral Point upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Pointers host Fennimore (Fennimore, WI) to play the Golden Eagles in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Friday, February 3. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Fennimore won 58-37 in their recent league bout against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI)

Next up, the Chieftains play the Boscobel Bulldogs (Boscobel, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout, on Friday, February 3. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 84-51 league loss to Darlington (Darlington, WI).
