The Pocatello Thunder basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Minico Spartans to 50 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunder now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Preston for a 4A South East Idaho contest on Friday, February 3. Pocatello will battle a Indians team coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Highland (Pocatello, ID). The Indians record now stands at 14-5.

The Spartans (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jerome (Jerome, ID). The Tigers enter the 4A Great Basin contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Jerome was defeated by Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID), 56-54, in a league contest.
