MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), 86-46 in a league bout.

With the win, MOC-Floyd Valley upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Dutchmen travel to George-Little Rock (George, IA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Siouxland bout on Friday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-7. George-Little Rock won 53-50 in their recent league bout against Sheldon (Sheldon, IA)

Next up, the Generals clash with the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks (Hartley, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Sibley-Ocheyedan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 68-65 league win over Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA).
