The North Mahaska Warhawks basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Montezuma Braves to 46 in the Warhawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Warhawks now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. North Mahaska will battle a Rockets team coming off a 73-72 non-league win over Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 18-2.

The Braves (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont edged Centerville (Centerville, IA), 62-39, in a non-league contest.
