New Mexico High School Basketball - Ruidoso thwarts New Mexico Military Institute

The Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM), 47-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Demons go into the 3A District 4 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Dexter went down by Portales (Portales, NM), 67-45, in a non-league test.
The Colts now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Tucumcari for a 3A District 4 test on Thursday, February 2. New Mexico Military Institute will encounter a Rattlers squad coming off a 61-46 non-league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NM). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-11.
