New York High School Basketball - Newburgh Free Academy overwhelmed by Valley Central

The Valley Central Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks to 37 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Bush for a Section 9 Orange County II contest on Thursday, February 2. Valley Central will battle a Bushmen team coming off a 79-25 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 0-15.
The Goldbacks (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Tigers come into the Section 9 Orange County I contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Kingston triumphed over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY), 69-54, in a non-league contest.
