In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting North Polars basketball squad scored a nice 69-54 win over the Simley Spartans.
The Polars (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Woodbury (Woodbury, MN). The Royals go into the AAAA Section 4 test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Woodbury went down by Roseville (Roseville, MN), 65-46, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host St. Thomas Academy for a AAA Section 3 test on Friday, February 3. Simley will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 70-54 non-league win over Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Cadets record now stands at 11-5.
