Louisiana High School Basketball - Ouachita Parish topped by Pineville

The Pineville Rebels basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Ouachita Parish Lions to 65 in the Rebels league victory on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexandria for a 5A District 2 contest on Friday, February 3. Pineville will battle a Trojans team coming off a 69-34 league win over West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 17-12.
The Lions (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats come into the 5A District 2 contest with a 22-2 record. In their last contest, Ruston prevailed over West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 68-51, in a league contest.
