Texas High School Basketball - Rice Consolidated tops Palacios

Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX), 60-52 in a league bout.
With the victory, Rice Consolidated upgrades its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Raiders host Edna (Edna, TX) to play the Cowboys in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, February 3. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Edna won 60-51 in their recent league bout against Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX)
Next up, the Sharks play the Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, February 3. Palacios will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 52-45 league win over Tidehaven (El Maton, TX).
