Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX), 93-73 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tascosa upgrades its record to 14-14 on the campaign. The Rebels host Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to play the Sandies in a 5A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, February 3. The Sandies come into the bout with a record of 27-3. Amarillo won 59-49 in their recent league bout against Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX)

Next up, the Dons play the Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, February 3. Palo Duro will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 10-18 record after their 75-74 league win over Caprock (Amarillo, TX).
