In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL), by a count of 83-46.
The Stampede (16-11) will now prepare for their outing against Wenonah (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 16-10 record. In their last outing, Wenonah smashed Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL), 62-39, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Greene County for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 2. Sipsey Valley will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 62-48 league loss to Marion (Marion, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.
