Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Skipstone Academy Warriors (Griffin, GA), 47-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peachtree Academy upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Panthers host Central Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Central Christian lost 80-61 in their recent non-league bout against Arlington Christian (Fairburn, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders (McDonough, GA) in a GAPPS - I-AAA Region 4 bout, on Thursday, February 2. Skipstone Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 18-5 record after their 83-28 league win over Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA).
