Nevada High School Basketball - Silver Stage ripped by Pershing County

The Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks to 19 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yerington for a 2A Northern contest on Friday, February 3. Pershing County will battle a Lions team coming off a 53-46 league loss to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Lions record now stands at 7-12.

The Nighthawks (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons enter the 2A Northern contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was routed by Incline (Incline Village, NV), 76-47, in a league contest.
