In Tuesday's league outing, the Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX), by a margin of 90-40.
The Marlins (22-8) will now prepare for their outing against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region IV District 31 outing with a 22-5 record. In their last outing, Skidmore-Tynan smashed Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX), 47-44, in a league outing.
The Bobcats now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Yorktown for a 2A Region IV District 31 outing on Friday, February 3. Refugio will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 41-19 league loss to Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-23.
