The San Augustine Wolves (San Augustine, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting West Sabine Tigers (Pineland, TX), 54-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolves (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region III District 24 test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Corrigan-Camden notched a victory over Broaddus (Broaddus, TX), 83-54, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Chireno for a 2A Region III District 24 test on Friday, February 3. West Sabine will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 40-26 league win over San Augustine (San Augustine, TX). The Owls record now stands at 8-9.
