The Scarborough Red Storm routed the visiting Sanford Spartans basketball team by a final score of 66-43 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Red Storm face the Noble Knights (Berwick, ME) in a AA South game, on Friday, February 3. Scarborough will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 6-9 record after their 63-55 league loss to South Portland (South Portland, ME).
The Spartans now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Bonny Eagle for a AA South test on Thursday, February 2. Sanford will encounter a Scots squad coming off a 41-27 non-league win over Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Scots record now stands at 8-7.
