The West Delaware Hawks basketball team (Manchester, IA), was toppled 50-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Solon Spartans (Solon, IA)
The Spartans now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Vernon for a WAMAC - East battle on Friday, February 3. Solon will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 65-52 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-3.
The Hawks (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA). The Mustangs come into the WAMAC - East battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon was toppled by Solon (Solon, IA), 76-50, in a league battle.
