The Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA), 58-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bears (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA). The Panthers go into the Suburban One - American test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Cheltenham went down by Executive Education Academy Charter School (Allentown, PA), 61-54, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Lower Moreland for a Suburban One - American test on Friday, February 3. Springfield Township will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 52-36 league win over New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA). The Lions record now stands at 8-12.
