The University Prep Science & Math Cobra basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Taylor Prep Tigers to 43 in the Cobra league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cobra now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trillium Academy for a Michigan Metro contest on Friday, February 3. University Prep Science & Math will battle a team coming off a 53-52 non-league win over University Prep Art & Design (Detroit, MI). The record now stands at 12-0.

The Tigers (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI). The Lakers enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Advanced Tech Academy was routed by University Prep Science & Math (Detroit, MI), 74-66, in a non-league contest.
