The Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) basketball nipped the host O'Neal Falcons (Southern Pines, NC), 67-61 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lion (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings go into the NCISAA Tri-TAC test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Salem Baptist Christian was tipped by Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC), 88-67, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 4-19 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina Friends for a NCISAA Tri-TAC test on Friday, February 3. O'Neal will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 59-52 league win over Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC). The Quakers record now stands at 12-7.
