Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), 76-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Wossman upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Bastrop (Bastrop, LA) to play the Rams in a 3A District 1 bout on Friday, February 3. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-18. Bastrop lost 68-52 in their recent league bout against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA)

Next up, the Farmers play the Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) in a 3A District 1 bout, on Friday, February 3. Union Parish will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 21-7 record after their 68-52 league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, LA).
