The Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) basketball nipped the host West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), 56-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (2-14) will now prepare for their test against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, East Iberville was tipped by Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA), 72-60, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host First Baptist Christian for a non-league test on Friday, February 3.
