Campolindo Cougars (Moraga, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA), 53-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Campolindo upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Cougars host Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Knights in a bout on Thursday, February 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Las Lomas won 67-33 in their recent league bout against Miramonte (Orinda, CA)

Next up, the Ugly Eagles play the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. Clayton Valley Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 48-41 league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
