In Tuesday's league outing, the Central Chargers (Macon, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA), by a count of 67-22.
The Chargers (21-1) will now prepare for their outing against Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Red Jackets go into the AA Region 2 outing with a 6-15 record. In their last outing, Jordan smashed Rutland (Macon, GA), 67-42, in a league outing.
The Gryphons now hold a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Rutland for a AA Region 2 outing on Friday, February 3. Academy for Classical Education will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 67-42 league loss to Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-19.
