The Algoma Wolves basketball team (Algoma, WI), was nudged 50-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Peshtigo Bulldogs (Peshtigo, WI)
The Bulldogs now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menominee for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2. Peshtigo will confront a Maroons team coming off a 43-32 league win over Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 6-9.
The Wolves (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Sevastopol (Sturgeon Bay, WI). The Pioneers come into the Packerland battle with a 19-1 record. In their last battle, Sevastopol edged Sturgeon Bay (Sturgeon Bay, WI), 73-26, in a league battle.
